NFL and Verizon: New App is incredible for fans

We have some great news for fans of NFL now, as Verizon Wireless has just announced that they will be taking over from Sprint as the official provider for NFL content on mobile phones.

As reported from Phandroid, the app will give you easy access to the latest news such as draft picks, and up to date statistics. You’ll also get video content direct to your mobile, and you’ll be able to sign up to an alert service – ensuring that you never miss a piece of action.

While Sprint customers will be disappointed that NFL is not renewing their contract with them, Verizon customers must surely be delighted with the news.

You can sign up right now by texting ‘NFL to 8915’. Let us know your thoughts of the service.
