Nexus One: Android 2.2 Froyo Update – Vodafone Release Date Soon

We have some good news for Nexus One owners in Europe, as it looks as if Vodafone are preparing to release their official update to Android 2.2 Froyo for their customers soon. No confirmations for UK users on Vodafone yet though.

As reported from Phandroid, an update on the official German Vodafone Twitter page revealed that Froyo is on the way soon to their customers. According to the tweet, the update should be rolling out in a few days time.

Sadly, Phandroid also reports of possible delays for the UK update to Android 2.2 Froyo on Vodafone, due to issues involving the Nexus One source code. Apparently, UK users have been complaining on official Voda boards on why the update is taking so long to release.

Once we hear more details on this, we’ll keep you updated.
