Nexus 8 sightings and Nexus 12 concept teased

Google has so far released two new Nexus devices in 2013, the Nexus 7 and most recently, the Nexus 5. However, we know with almost certainty that another model is on the cards, but it might not be the one you are thinking of.

We expect you are thinking of the Nexus 10, which we assumed would be released some time this month. However, Google has been very quiet on the matter, and so it is just a waiting game. However, there are two other models that could make a showing, with one sooner rather than later.

It seems that there have been several sightings of the Nexus 8, which looks like a slightly larger, yet slimmer version of the 2013 Nexus 7. We already saw several concept images earlier this year, and the image you see below is the most recent.

Could this be the Nexus 8?

This image was spotted on the Google Nexus 7 page, although it has since been removed. However, we have to wonder if this really is the Nexus 8, or if it is just some poor Photoshop work?

Moving on to the Nexus 12 concept render, which you can see at the top of the page. We know this is considered to be more of a fantasy tablet, but if Apple is considering a 12-inch iPad, then it will only be a matter of time before Google releases a 12-inch Nexus alternative.

Possible Nexus 12 specs can be found here, but just remember that this should all be taken with a grain of salt — for now anyway.
