Nexus 7 lights up Cyber Monday 2012

The moment that online shopping fanatics have been waiting for all year has arrived. Cyber Monday deals are now upon us once again and it’s the time of year where consumers franticly search online for any last minute bargains while prices are incredibly low. You have probably seen a lot of deals for products that don’t interest you, but we have picked out one sneaky deal for Google’s brand new Nexus 7 tablet, which is actually part of the Cyber Monday sales as well.

As most of you know, Google isn’t officially joining the discounts, as there are no price reductions to be seen as part of Cyber Monday 2012, on their regional Google Play Stores. That is obviously pretty disappointing for consumers looking to pick up a new Nexus device, but we are here to tell you that all hope isn’t lost just yet.

We’ve discovered that over on Ebay, there is a $20 discount to be had on the brand new 32GB Nexus 7 model. This is the newest version of the device which was unveiled alongside the Nexus 4 and Nexus 10 tablet just a few weeks ago. The usual price found at every other retailer is $249.99, but courtesy of BuyDig you can pick up the Nexus 7 during Cyber Monday for just $229.99 – whilst stocks last.

To remind you again, this tablet is one of the best 7-inch devices money can buy and certainly worth considering if you are looking for an alternative to the iPad Mini. Aside from the 32GB storage, the Nexus 7 also touts a quad-core Tegra 3 processor, 1GB of RAM, a front facing camera and the very latest version of Android Jelly Bean as well. It may ship with Android 4.1.1 out of the box, but you’ll soon see a manual update to Android 4.2 will be available via the settings menu after opening.

As far as we’re aware, this is the best Cyber Monday deal that we’ve seen for the Nexus 7 tablet – maybe even the only deal as well. There is still stock as we speak, so don’t waste any time and head to the Ebay product listing here to try to order one. Just to let you know, there has been over 1000 of these tablets sold already via this offer, so you really don’t want to delay too much, as the deal will soon be gone before you know it.

Have you spotted any other Nexus 7 sales during Cyber Monday that we should know about? Good luck if you are trying to order one now – let us know how you get on.
