Nexus 5 rumors intensify as LG commit

The past few weeks have not been great for those wishing to get their hands on a Nexus 4 and while LG is still committed to their handset saying that the supply issues will soon change, this has not stopped those rumors spreading in regards to the Nexus 5 (or whatever the successor to the Nexus 4 will be called).

Going back to those supply issues a recent article has come to light where LG’s Cathy Robin said that they have over allocated in some countries, meaning that there was an abundance of stock in certain areas, whereas others were told that they had to wait until more stock became available.

Google has on a number of occasions apologized for the lack of Nexus 4 stock and knowing that some areas had more than enough will not go down well with those still waiting for the Android smartphone. However, we shouldn’t be surprised because it has been a mess from the start, but maybe things could soon change now that there is finally a reason for the shortage?

Going back to those rumors of the Nexus 5, it seems that some consumers have already given up on the Nexus 4 and are holding out for the release of the Nexus 5. It’s already been suggested that LG and Android are committed to a long relationship and hope to bring newer Nexus models, and if we are to believe what we are reading, then the Nexus 5 could be with us sooner than we think. If this is the case then what improvements would you like to see made in the next model?
