Nexus 5 64GB release Vs iPhone 6

We are gearing up for a couple of exciting months with regards to new Nexus phone and tablets in 2014 but one interesting piece of news this week suggests that Google are not finished yet with the popular LG Nexus 5.

There are reports brewing that a new Nexus 6 or Nexus X device could be joined by a new model of the Nexus 5. This model is thought to be coming with a whopping 64GB of storage space and is going to be a dream come true for those that love maximum storage possible.

It’s by no means confirmed yet, but it if happens it could be a great alternative to choose from at a significantly lower price than the iPhone 6 and upcoming slew of new Samsung Galaxy phones in 2014 that are on the way.

If a 64GB Nexus 5 does arrive, we’re assuming that storage will only be the main difference meaning that the device will likely still have a quad-core based Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 setup.

There could be a chance for this new Nexus 5 to ship with Android L though rather than Android 4.4 Kitkat depending on when the Nexus 6 or Nexus X is officially announced and if both devices are indeed on the way at the same time in relation to this rumor.

As we wait for clearer information on this, tell us if you would be willing to buy a 64GB version of the Nexus 5. Do you still consider it to be one of the best Android devices on the market at the moment and would choose it ahead of a new iPhone 6 from Apple?
