Nexus 4 joins Lumia 920 in review of HD video

Most of our readers know the LG Nexus 4 and Nokia Lumia 920 specs really well, so rather than recap over these we wanted to show you three videos that look at the 1080p recording. The first two videos show you a high definition video sample for the Nexus 4 and Lumia 920, and then the last video delivers much of the same for the HTC Droid DNA. The recordings run for different lengths of time, but they also give you a clear idea of how good the HD video capture is on each device.

The image above is a screenshot from the Nokia Lumia 920 1080p HD video recording sample, but you can see the one minute and 33 second recording in the first video below this article. The second video runs for 44 seconds and gives you a look at how the Nexus 4 does with 1080p HD video capture. The last video is over one minute of full-1080p video from the Droid DNA, which is Verizon and HTC’s newest Android smartphone. The settings used included image stabilization on, automatic white balance, and 1080p resolution.

What do you think about the quality for each of the videos, and do you have a favorite? If you haven’t heard the reason why Google’s Nexus 4 has recently gained LTE, then you can read about its mixed chip in this article. Another article looked at the Nokia Lumia 920 and a recent review that explains the mobile OS will decide how much you like a smartphone, especially considering how close certain smartphones are becoming with hardware.
