Next Marvel Future Fight update with major change

We have some important news to bring you now, as Netmarble has just revealed that they will soon be giving a revamp to the Comic Cover piece system in Marvel Future Fight.

This is the system which has been somewhat of a talking point since launch. Players were able to run Dimension Rifts to get pieces which could then unlock certain rewards in the game.

However there was also ‘Premium’ covers in the game which could only be acquired by opening Cover piece chests which use up the premium currency crystals.

Netmarble devised a way to offer an ultra rare uniform for Captain Marvel by completing all Premium Covers, which was essentially only possible by spending a lot of money.

Now Netmarble has said that the system is changing on March 9, 2016 and that Comic Covers are transforming into Comic Cards. All current pieces are going to turn into Tokens at a rate of 1:1, which means that those of you who have spent money on Premium piece chests may be feeling hard done by.

In a nutshell, those who are close to a premium cover completion may be unhappy if these pieces turn into 1 token and ultimately hold the same value as normal pieces – we await details on this though.

Head to Mobirum here to see the details in full and if you are a cover piece collector in the game, leave your thoughts below.

This also means that the next update, either Future Fight 1.9.6 or even 1.10 or 2.0.0 will be out sometime after March 9 and not before.

Are you worried about this change, or happy to finally see a new system in place? Will it mean that normal players who aren’t inflicted with a gambling addiction have a chance to get premium covers without breaking the bank?
