The next 20YearsOfCharacters clue time is approaching for another chance at getting your 20th Anniversary Edition PS4. Later today, you will find clue 2 directly on the GAME UK Twitter or by visiting the official PlayStation UK Twitter page at 5pm UK time.
We published details on the event taking place each day this week in this article. The clue yesterday received so much attention that it slowed down the uk.playstation.com/20yearsofcharacters website, although we don’t expect clue 2 to take down this page today and hopefully Sony has improved server capacity from the demand seen already.
Buy a PS4 20th Anniversary console today – to stand a chance to get hold of this rare edition, you will need to be @PlayStationUK on Twitter for 5PM BST. Clue 2 should be revealed at that moment, and then you can visit the 20 Years of Characters page to find a link directing you to a form on GAME UK’s website.
If you are one of the first 100 to fill out the form, then you are lucky enough to stand a chance to purchase the 20th Anniversary PS4 console for £399 rather than thousands on eBay. It’s also good to remember that those after the first 100 get entered into a draw to win as well.
Sony already offered an apology for the “large amounts of traffic” they saw, although it’s still unclear if there’s anything going to be done to improve speed before #20YearsofCharacters clue 2 arrives today. If you still get problems today, then Sony just advises to “keep trying” and the gamers will most likely desire for servers to be fixed in advance.
