New Surface Pro firmware update, no Adobe Photoshop fix

Over the years Microsoft has been delivering patches for their devices every Tuesday, which is something that Mac users do not miss after making the switch. Although, this is a small price to pay when you consider how much of a premium Apple charges for their devices.

Since its launch the Surface Pro has suffered from stock issues and minor problems, although one of them is a bit of a pain. The new Surface Pro update delivers several improvements, but we are sad to report that an Adobe Photoshop fix is not one of them. It seems strange how Redmond can make owners wait for the stylus pen support in Photoshop, and they have not even given Pro owners a timescale as to when they will rectify this issue.

What Microsoft Surface Pro issues have been resolved?
Several owners reported an issue with on screen touch navigation when booted from the UEFI menu, this has now been fixed. Some Surface Type and Touch cover connectivity issues have also been resolved, as has airplane mode, which would often disable the WiFi driver. There’s also improved support for 106/109 keyboards in the US Surface Pro.

Going back to the Photoshop issue, while Microsoft has not given us any details as to when they will fully support the advanced features of the stylus, we do know they are working with their partners in order to resolve the issue.

Not all Surface Pro owners have had issues, some of them report that they have been problem free. It’s clear that there is a mixed reaction when it comes to how successful the Pro is, but one thing is for certain, it’s great to see Microsoft giving us something new. yes the Surface Pro has had a few teething troubles, but this is the first-generation, let’s wait to see what happens when the second-generation model is released.
