New skill trees for Skyrim Dawnguard werewolves, vampires

Skyrim players on Xbox 360 do not have long to wait until the highly anticipated Dawnguard expansion is finally available for release. It’s clear that some gamers just can’t keep a secret though, as juicy details from the ongoing beta test have revealed some new information regarding new perk trees for the werewolves and vampires.

We already told you that Bethesda will be adding a new perk tree for the werewolves with Dawnguard, while those who choose to play as the new vampire class will be able to unlock a plethora of exciting skills as well.

Bethesda had revealed a few of them, during some E3 gameplay but now we have images to show you the full perk trees in their entirety. It looks like the best skill available to the vampires will be the Night Cloak ability, which will send a horde of bats towards your enemy within melee range. To use this skill, you’ll need to have access to the Poison Talons ability, which will give your attacks a 20% bonus in poison damage.

The full perk tree for the vampires can be seen above, make sure you have a look at it if you are planning to join these guys ahead of the dawnguard.

For other players, the expansion is going to be more exciting for its new werewolf features. Bethesda has generously added a new skill tree specifically for the vampires and some of the abilities on offer are going to make your beast a force to be reckoned with. Totem of the Predator and Totem of Ice Brothers appear to be the best unlocks, but so far their features have been kept a secret for now. Totem of Terror allows you to perform a howl of terror though that affects ‘high level creatures’, so we’re guessing that this is some sort of paralyse move.

This information has already been posted to the Elder Scrolls Wiki page, so it’s a good idea to read up on what has been revealed already, before the expansion launches on June 26 – Xbox 360 for a month first remember. If you find out what Totem of the Predator or Ice Brothers do, leave us a comment below.
