New Red Dead Redemption 2 release, location rumors

With development seemingly coming to an end on GTA V, everybody will want to know what new game Rockstar is working on next.

For those that missed it earlier this week, it has already been confirmed by Take-Two that Rockstar is now working on their next ‘unannounced’ projects and that they will include a combination of ‘new intellectual properties’ but more importantly games from ‘established franchises’.

That has been verified by Take-Two president Karl Slatoff who revealed this information during the company’s recent earnings call.

On top of that, it has also been confirmed that one of Rockstar’s games will come out in 2016 but obviously Take-Two are not saying what it is yet and if it is an existing franchise game or a new IP.

Either way, this has set the alarm bells ringing this week with fans taking it as the assumption they need to satisfy their hunger for a Red Dead Redemption 2 PS4 and Xbox One release date in 2016.

We’ve even heard some Red Dead Redemption 2 location rumors this week suggesting that the game may even be based in Japan – although these appear to be wide of the mark and without any substance to take seriously.

With GTA 5 now getting stale though, do you agree that it is the perfect time for Rockstar to bring Red Dead Redemption 2 into the fold?

Many gamers feel that announcing GTA 6 already would be overkill, while some would even prefer to see LA Noire 2 or Bully 2 before a new GTA game.

Give us your thoughts on what you would like Rockstar to do with their next game. It’s clear that they are working on something so do you want it to be RDR2. Would you be happy with Japan as a location or can you think of something better?
