New Red Dead Redemption 2 co-op secret from rumor

It has been a while since we last heard anything regarding Red Dead Redemption 2 news. However, we noticed one interesting rumor online which we couldn’t help but share with you, especially if it ends up leading to something bigger.

Red Dead Redemption is clearly a game that is still very much close to your hearts. A Red Dead Redemption 2 game seems like a forgone conclusion at some point down the road and ideal as Rockstar’s next project.

After all, GTA V on PS4 and Xbox One won’t last forever and Take-Two are going to want to put their next big game on the shelves. Red Dead Redemption 2 ticks all of those boxes and these rumors that we have for you almost seem like perfect timing.

An insider has taken to Neogaf to suddenly reveal that Red Dead Redemption 2 for PS4 and Xbox One is on the way and that it will include co-op gameplay elements.

In actual fact, the insider adds that Rockstar are apparently using co-op as a focal point in the game, which is amazing if true. Since the leak was published on Neogaf, it has since been verified by a moderator, which is the standard practise at the site when major leaks such as this one turn up.

Assuming it is true, can you imagine the fun that Rockstar can get up to when coming off the success of GTA V next-gen, straight onto Red Dead Redemption 2 built around co-op?

It really is the stuff of dreams. Lets hope we have more news to share with you on this soon – in the meantime, give us your reaction to the prospect of Red Dead Redemption 2 with co-op.
