New PS Vita, PS3 game tease sparks Shenmue 3 dreams

We’re pleased to report that it looks like things are looking up for the PS Vita. Another new game is on the way to Sony’s handheld, this time coming from Sega. The exciting thing is though, that the game is a complete mystery at the moment leading to all sorts of speculation that it could be one of Sega’s big guns for 2013.

We say this, because the game is also coming to the PlayStation 3 as well. Sega has revealed a teaser website for the game, showing a brief animation as possible clues on the new title, without giving away anything. It really has got us thinking on what it could be, but we’re yet to come up with anything substantial.

We see at the bottom of the page what looks to be grass, along with some kind of particles that appear to be falling from the sky. One obvious assumption on this could be a possible Valkyrie Chronicles 4 game in the works, although some of you are aiming much higher than that.

Top of the list so far and a wild, dream guess would be Shenmue 3. It has to be one of the most requested sequels from SEGA in a long time, so imagine if the company have that to show off on March 28 when the teaser comes to an end? There’s also a few whispers that it might be a new Football Manager game.

Don’t forget that this will be a PS Vita game as well, so it has to be a title that would fit on both systems. We would love it if this turns out to be a title with both cross platform and cross buy initiatives. Would a Sonic game be also up for consideration we wonder?

Either way, all eyes are on March 28 when the game will be revealed. If you are a Sega fan and a PS3/PS Vita owner, let us know what game you would like to see revealed.
