New NETGEAR Nighthawk router, extender range for 2015

Last year during CES there was a huge focus on curved TVs, but this year there does not seem to be any one thing that we have been able to focus on. However, it has been a good event up to now and there are some great products to look forward to from many brands, with NETGEAR being just one of them.

NETGEAR announced 6 new products yesterday, three of which includes new Nighthawk routers and an extender. The Nighthawk X6 R8000 and X4 R7500 routers are of the Tri-Band WiFi and Smart WiFi type respectively. To complete the new range of home networking is the Nighthawk EX7000 WiFi Range Extender.

The X4 comes with Quad-Stream X4 Architecture for increased speeds with up to 1.73Gbps, although this can be increased to 2.33Gbps when combined. Other features include Wave 2 WiFi, Dynamic QoS and more. More details and price can be found on the NETGEAR website.

As for the X6 router, this has even more to offer, such as speeds of up to 3.2Gbps, Tri-Band WiFi, and Smart Connect intelligence. You can find all the tech specs and other features here.

Finally, there is the Nighthawk WiFi Range Extender, which gets the whole family connected thanks to its speeds of up to 1900 Mbps, 1GHz processor and external antennas. Visit the NETGEAR website for full specifications and price.
