New MacBook Pro: NVIDIA’s GeForce GT 330M graphics

We reported earlier this afternoon that Apple had upgraded its MacBook Pro range, The 13-inch saw the least amount of upgrades, all the good stuff was put inside the 15 and 17-inch MacBook pro range. As with most laptop devices one of the most important features is its GPU, and the NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M graphics processor does not disappoint.

This is now the fastest MacBook Pro yet, not only with its graphics card, but with its CPU as well. There is a choice of GPU options, you have 48 processing cores and up to 512MB of dedicated video memory. Making the right choice will often come down to budget, just think before you buy.

Apple has worked hard on its energy efficiency with this new range, so asked NVIDIA to produce an energy efficient graphics processor while offering more speed — looks like they did the job.
