New Lamborghini Gallardo (LP550-2) price for India

There’s a new version of the Lamborghini Gallardo specifically for the Indian market, and with only six examples being made, we’re sure the limited edition Gallardo LP550-2 will be very much sought after.

However, in order to own one of these Limited Edition Lamborghini Gallardo’s in India, there is a huge price to pay for the privilege, that price will be Rs 3.06 crore. Remember, these have been designed solely for the Indian market, so don’t expect to see them in any other country.

There are three colors on this special model, which symbolize the color of the Indian national flag; these are Pearl Orange, White and Pearl Green. We’re told that one businessman has already purchased one of these Limited Edition Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 supercars even before it was launched.

We’re not too sure how many Lamborghini’s there are that has a paint job to help symbolize a national flag, and this version does not stop with the exterior, as there are also touches of those Indian national flag colors in the interior as well, such as on the seats and dashboard.

India is such an important market for all types of vehicles now, and not just the cheap segment, the growth has been very fast, and so having a limited edition vehicle that is all about speed is certainly fitting, wouldn’t you agree?

In other Lamborghini related news, it looks as though there will be a replacement to the Gallardo, which is rumored to be the Lamborghini Carbrera, which you can see in a leaked image here. We should expect to see this new model at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, where we can see if rumors of the model making use of the light Audi R8 platform and a modified 5.2-liter V10 engine come true
