We’ve seen quite a few trailers emerge for the much-anticipated L.A. Noire game now including one that gave an overview of the core mechanics of the game, one that previewed “The Naked City” mission and a HD trailer. Now we have news of yet another new trailer.
As Matthew Sims over on the ripten.com website recently noted, the latest gameplay trailer — entitled ‘Investigation and Interrogation’ — shows us just how the player can influence the decisions and the future of the game’s main character, Detective Cole Phelps.
While taking on the role of Cole, players will have to investigate crime scenes, and gather clues that may just turn the tide of the case from the very beginning. Once players have scoured the scene, they will have the oppotunity to interrogate the suspects.
However, they do have to be careful and read the suspect correctly, or they could miss out on some important information or drop the case entirely. The way in which the player handles the case can change the entire outlook and even the direction of Cole Phelps’ detective career.
According to Jared over at rockstarwatch.net, Rockstar Games will have a booth at this year’s Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) in Boston (taking place from March 11th to March 13th), where they are hosting exclusive previews of the L.A. Noire game. Are you attending the PAX event this weekend?
