We have some fantastic information for those of you who are patiently waiting for any Kingdom Hearts 3 news that come in.
Square-Enix has announced that D23 2015 is going to be the moment when we get to see a new Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer. It will happen on August 16 in Anaheim California , so we have just over a month to countdown to this event.
Thanks to a recent press release from Disney for the upcoming expo, we know that the event on a whole will include “never-before-seen gameplay, trailers, new reveals and surprises from Disney Interactive’s most anticipated games.”
As you can see from a segment of the release we’ve included above, Kingdom Hearts 3 is on that list. What are Square-Enix planning to show off next for the game, some more new worlds finally to stop the speculation perhaps? – dare we say it, Frozen?
We could also see a few more new keyblades in KH3 announced as well, which would be a nice treat. We thought that we would have to wait until the end of the year to see new Kingdom Hearts 3 gameplay, but given the fact that new footage is ready next month it bodes well in terms of how far the game is into development.
This trailer could also be the moment when we see a confirmed Kingdom Hearts 3 release date on PS4 and Xbox One – it would make sense for Square-Enix to do it now if the game is almost finished.
