The new Kia Optima UK model line-up is described as being more modern with much bolder styling. The interior is said to offer a greater deal of Luxury with its new horizontal layout. Some cutting-edge technologies are also being used this time, with wireless phone charging being just one example of this.
That’s not all, as the new engine options have now improved fuel-economy while reducing emissions by up to 25 per cent. There are four new models in all, which are on sale from today in the UK, prices of which start from £21,495.
Kia says that its all-new Optima 2016 model is a class-leader, although this will only become clear in time. However, from how they describe it, you cannot blame them for saying such things, as these new models certainly bring a lot to the table.
As for those four models, they are the 1.7 CRDi 6-speed manual ISG 2, 1.7 CRDi 6-speed manual ISG 3, 1.7 CRDi 7-speed DCT ISG 3 and the 1.7 CRDi 7-speed DCT ISG 4. The UK pricing for these are £21,495, £23,495, £24,895 and £28,895 respectively.
What to get excited about – Sharper appearance and greater cabin quality, more versions to come, greater agility with premium-class refinement, and a range of safety firsts for the Optima.
