With the Apple Media Event coming in just over a weeks time and the exciting prospect of the new iPod Touch 4G, we take a look at what will undoubtedly be one of the prime features of the device — the rumored dual cameras and Retina Display.
Infact, to back up our arguement, a recent poll at T3 suggested that 27% of voters wanted a good rear facing camera with 23% of you voting for Apple’s Retina Display.
You might remember seeing some supposed images of a leaked iPod Touch 4G case that had a space where a camera might go, so I think it is safe to say that the next gen Touch would be coming with one.
One thing we are not yet sure on is the resolution. Most smartphones come well equipped in the camera department, giving us around 8-megapixels.
I highly doubt that the Touch will come with anything higher than the iPhone 4’s 5-megapixel camera, and definitely not the 12-megapixel camera on the Nokia N8.
So, with the iPod Touch 4G almost certain to come with the camera feature, is this enough to pursuade you to upgrade? What would your ideal resolution be?
