New iPhone rumored to land on Sprint and T-Mobile

Despite all the rumors we are hearing about the next iPhone, it does seem highly likely that we will have to wait until around September for it to come out. We have had reports before saying the iPhone 5 will just have a few small changes over the current version, and today there are reports that the next iPhone will land on Sprint and T-Mobile.

Apple Insider are reporting that the latest rumors are again speaking of just a few minor changes, and it will be called the iPhone 4S. The rumors also state the next iPhone will not support 4G networks, but will support Sprint and T-Mobile networks.

An analyst from Jeffries & Co. Peter Misek has said that the device will have better cameras and the A5 dual-core processor. It will also have HSPA+ support, and will also be compatible with China Mobile. It is thought Apple wanted to have LTE chips for the next iPhone, but current components don’t meet the standards Apple requires.

There has been much speculation recently about what the next version of the company’s smartphone would be like. We have seen images with a bigger edge to edge screen, and talk of a handset which can be universally used around the world.

If the next iPhone does come to T-Mobile and Sprint it will please many customers of the two carriers, regardless of what happens with the proposed takeover of T-Mobile by AT&T.
