New iPhone Apps: SoundGrid 3.0

An advanced matrix sequencer has just received an update for users of the iPhone and iPod Touch. SoundGrid 3.0 has been completely redesigned with a new UI; Live Play mode, Web Console, and much more.

Developed by Vitaliy Pronkin, the app was inspired by popular ToneMatrix webapp by Andre Michelle and famous Yamaha Tenori-On. The app is good even for beginners who may have never before composed music, as it is easy to start creating compositions using just the tips of your fingers. Live performances and tracks can be recorded and uploaded directly to SoundCloud or exported to a PC.

More experienced users can benefit from the apps more advanced options to create longer and richer compositions. Other features include; Pattern copy/paste, Amplitude Envelope filter, and Touch or to preview/play samples without altering the Grid.

SoundGrid 3.0 is on the App Store for only $4.99 while free for existing customers. iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch required with OS 3.1 or later.
