Now that Apple has officially launched the iPad 2, the focus has now turned to the much-anticipated iPhone 5. We’ve heard several rumors about the upcoming handset now, including a recent one that suggested there could well be a 64GB model on its way.
Many websites have featured articles about the expectations of the iPhone 5, including a recent one from David Gerwitz over at zdnet.com. David’s article provides a list of 27 features that he’d like to see in the next iPhone, although he does appear to name other phones in the process.
As one person commenting on the article noted, many of the mentioned features can already be found in other handsets. For example, the author said he would like the new iPhone to feature an SD card slot, an integrated flip-out stand and a physical, slide-out keyboard.
More obvious additions would be a dual-core CPU, which rumors have already suggested, 4G or LTE and possibly a bigger screen with a higher resolution. Another feature that David said he’d like to see in the iPhone 5 is an integrated AM/FM radio.
Also included on the wish list are laser detection, unlimited data, a better battery life, a screen rotation lock on a switch and a wider range of colors. You can read the full list via the zdnet.com website. What do you think of the wish list? Do you agree with some of them?
