New iPhone 4S delivered early, Siri says hello

In just a few days time consumers who have preordered the iPhone 4S will be receiving their handset. We have already reported the huge amount of preorders that Apple had taken for the first hours of availability. We now have news that the new iPhone 4S has been delivered early, and the Siri feature says hello via some images.

One lucky Apple fan over in Germany has already received their iPhone 4S a few days early, and AppleInsider have some images of the packaging and the Siri voice recognition feature. The shiny new device was delivered by German Telekom, who had already started to take orders for the next iPhone before it was even announced.

There have been other examples of the iPhone 4S delivered early that have been tested to reveal the speed of the new iPhone. But with this example the packaging and screen shots of Siri can be seen, which at launch supports English, German, and French with more languages and features to get added in the future.

One of the images clearly shows the model number of A1387, where the iPhone 4 had the model number of A1332. The rest of the people who have ordered the device will have to wait for October 14 to get their hands on it. If you suddenly decide to preorder one now you will be looking at up to a two week wait for the iPhone 4S.
