New iPhone 4G: Release Date after WWDC 2010?

We have an exciting new rumor to share with you now, as it has been reported that the Apple iPhone will be launched after WWDC 2010 and not during, as previously suggested.

BGR is reporting that their AT&T sources have informed them that sales quotas for AT&T stores are ‘ridiculously’ high in the month of June – which leads them to believe that a confirmed iPhone 4G release will be in June, not July.

Furthermore, they argue that if the iPhone 4G was to be released on June 25th, AT&T wouldn’t have enough time to meet all the new sales quotas and for this reason, have pinpointed and predicted a June 18th launch – which is a Friday.

Do you think the release will happen during this period or not? BGR are usually pretty accurate with their predictions so we’ll have to wait and see. Let us know your thoughts on this.
