New iPhone 4G: 3G says goodbye?

We have some important news to share with you now, as reports are suggesting that Apple are planning to discontinue the iPhone 3G, cut the price of the 3GS and make way for the iPhone 4G this Summer.

According to BGR, iPhone 3G 8GB units are no longer being shipped to AT&T stores, and new orders are not being placed for the device.

To put further strength behind the claims, Walmart has just announced that they are cutting the price of the iPhone 3GS to $97 on a two-year deal.

Is the life of the iPhone 3G about to come to an end at WWDC 2010 in June? It certainly looks that way. Stay tuned for further news on this as we get it – give us your reaction to the news.
