New iPhone 4G: 2010 Accessories Tell 4GS Name

It is thought that the next generation iPhone will be unveiled by Apple at this year’s WWDC event, this event starts on June 7th 2010 and will go on until June 11th.

So far there is huge speculation surrounding the fourth-generation iPhone’s name, the hot favorites are iPhone 4G and iPhone HD, however as the iPhone will not be able to connect to 4G networks (apparently), it seems as if this name could perhaps cause confusion.

You would have thought that Apple would have opted for the iPhone HD name, however a recent article posted on MacRumors suggests that Ideal-Case are advertising their new next-generation iPhone cases as the “iPhone 4GS” case.

It is hard to say whether Ideal-Case have some insider information, or perhaps they are taking a gamble in an attempt to cash in on the new iPhone’s hype.

Do you think the fourth-generation iPhone should be called the iPhone 4GS?
