New iPad continues confidence in Apple shares

The new iPad 3 has been released to the world only a matter of hours ago, and it seems that the new tablet is going down in history as another product to cement the position of Apple Inc. (AAPL), which is now the tech brand to rival all others. The 3rd-generation iPad has only enhanced a device that set the standard for tablet PCs, and moments before its official launch we saw Apple’s stock and share price jump to new highs.

We remember when Google first floated and the share price seemed high but has shown amazing growth since that time, showing the world how amazing certain online tech companies are and seeing them rewrite the record books. This is a new age when it comes to what is possible, and we’re constantly amazed at limits being stretched when it comes to technology brands and how successful they can be. It seems like there will always be a new brand emerge from nowhere and gain massive achievements in months rather than years, and this includes newcomers such as Pinterest, the online pinboard with a twist.

Confidence in Apple shares — around one month ago Apple hit highs of $500, which amazed some people, although one day before the latest Apple keynote we saw the share price pass $600. There are a lot of Apple haters and each has a reason why they won’t touch Apple products, but the share price and uptake when a new product arrives shows the amount of confidence in the brand.

The stock has increased 10% this month and already 47% for this year, so we wonder when they’ll reach the highest point possible, if there is such a thing? When we look back around 10 years ago it’s hard to believe that Apple’s stock traded for just $10, although history has shown that none of the other top brands were able to maintain such a high over time.

We’ll be posting our first impressions of the new iPad soon, so keep connected via our social channels to see the latest news. We’ll also like to point out that a few analysts are expecting volatility ahead for Apple, although it could be that Apple is writing its own rules?

How much confidence do you have in Apple products and their shares?
