New iPad Apps: Watch Full Disney, ESPN, and ABC Episodes

With the launch of Apple’s iPad this weekend, Disney have announced they will be releasing apps from all of its businesses for Apple’s new computer.

Disney online has built an iPad version of its main website, Disney.com, this will focus on video with content from scenes of new Disney films. There will be full episodes of Disney Channel favorites like, Hannah Montana, and Suite Life on Deck. There will be two original Toy Story read along apps from Disney Publishing Worldwide. They will feature songs from the movies, and original games. Toy Story 2, app is only $8.99 and the Toy Story app is free. Later this spring there will be a new Toy Story 3 app released as well.

The ABC.com app will bring full episode player capability to the iPad. Users will be able to watch free episodes from around 20 popular ABC series using a WIFI connection. These episodes will be completely free as they are ad-supported. The iPad will also have its own fully functioning version of the ABC.com website.

In addition to these apps a game called “Fairies Fly” is being released. In a place called Pixie Hollow, users discover fun and adventure flying around in a new world with the fairies, all in stunning graphics and special effects.
