New iPad Apps: Drawing Pad 1.3

A fantastic new drawing app that will entertain your children for hours has just been released for the iPad. Drawing Pad 1.3 is an app that allows kids to create art with actual-sized realistic looking markers, paint brushes, crayons, and a lot more without the mess.

Released by Darren Murtha Design, the app takes advantage of the iPad display to allow budding artists to create drawings and pictures that can be shared on Twitter or emailed. Finished creations can even be used as the desktop background via iPhoto.

The app has been receiving some great reviews from parents saying how much their children love it, and needing an extra iPad. There is a You Tube video of the app that has been viewed over 17,000 times giving a short example of Drawing Pad. New features are currently in development which includes the option of posting to Facebook.

Drawing Pad 1.3 is on the App Store for only $1.99. iPad with OS 3.2 or later required.
