New iPad Apps: 123 Color HD Talking Coloring Book

123 Color HD Talking Coloring Book app has just been released for Apple’s new iPad. 123 Color HD, follows the hugely popular 123 Color app for the iPhone and iPod Touch, which became the most downloaded education app in less than two weeks after it was first released.

Developed by Steve Glinberg, the app teaches children shapes and colors, upper and lower case letters, and numbers in different languages as they play. The game is for children aged between 2 and 10. It will entertain them with beautiful graphics, sound effects and music while they learn. The iPad version is five times bigger and in high resolution, with a completely new set of drawings to enjoy.

Children color parts of the drawings by selecting and touching the properly lettered or numbered color on the paint pallet. The app also teaches language skills with the aid of male or female voice over’s. US English, Spanish, French and German languages are supported. When a drawing is completed the children are rewarded with trumpets, musical notes, and can sing along to one of the 25 songs included.

123 Color HD Talking Coloring Book can be found on the App Store for only $0.99. Requires iPad .
