New Infinity Blade incentive for iPad owners in 2013

Infinity Blade 3 is the latest incarnation of the game and will cost you $6.99 in order to enjoy its gameplay and graphics on the latest iPad devices. However, if you have never played any of the games in the franchise before, then you can get to experience what it is like for free.

There is a new incentive for Thanksgiving that allows you to download the original Infinity Blade app for free in the last week of November 2013. The game was first released in 2010, but it is still worth giving it a go.

Having said that, the original Infinity Blade is starting to show its age and there have been several reviews that the app crashes a lot, although this has to be down to the iPad that you are playing the game on because we have never had any such trouble.

This version of the game was last updated in February 2012, so it is safe to say there will be no more updates. It is fair to say that this is not the best version of the game, but downloading it for free on your iPad will allow you to test the game and then make your mind up if you feel it is worth spending $6.99 on the Infinity Blade III.

Have you taken advantage of this Thanksgiving week incentive and if so what are your thoughts on the app?
