New Facebook Pages design this week

Facebook seems to be on a roll at the moment because they are not happy with just redesigning their news feed, as they are also working on a new Pages design as well. Facebook revealed details of the new Pages design yesterday, not only for visitors, but admins as well.

We’re told that the Pages redesign will have a more streamlined look, which seems to be the way to go when you look at many other websites, it seems the old saying that “less is better” is proving popular once again.

Mashable has the old and the new look Facebook Pages design for you to compare, and it doesn’t take long to see how much cleaner it looks. The new design still features two columns, but instead of both of them displaying as a Timeline for posts, the right hand-side will feature the Timeline and the left information.

Also with the new design you will see that Invite Your Friends now appears on the left instead of the right. We had hoped that Facebook would offer a video preview of the new Pages redesign, so for now we have to just make do with what Mashable has.

However, with the new design expected to be released this week, it is not like we have that long to wait. That being said, this is not a huge deal because Facebook still needs to do a lot more in order to stop people from leaving them.
