I have some good news for NEC fans out there now, as according to Darren Murph over at engadget.com, there is a new 23-inch EX231W LCD monitor that has been unveiled by NEC. It comes complete with a stand, which provides tilt, swivel, pivots and height adjustment up to 110mm.
This monitor’s slim bezel measures just 14.6mm, and features a USB pass-through port at the top, as well as offers convenient on-screen touch controls. If you are energy conscious then there is a carbon savings meter, which will show how much it uses.
Another feature that helps to save money is the ambient light sensor. Other specs will include a dynamic contrast of up to 25,000:1, a 250 cd/m² brightness level and screen resolution of 1920 x 1080-pixels.
It also comes with DVI and DisplayPort connectivity. This model is due out sometime in November with an approximate price tag of $339. If you need a monitor upgrade, is the NEC EX231W for you?
