I can still remember the day when I used to connect a full-size keyboard, mouse and a monitor to my laptop, and while this served a purpose, it came at a cost. The cost that I am on about is the mess, and arguments with the wife. This is because there were so many wires all over the place, and so you can understand why this would cause so much frustration, even though so many of us still do it to this day.
However, help is at hand with the Dell Wireless Dock, which helps to do away with the wires and also helps to increase productivity — well that is what Dell tells us.
First things first, and that is the Dell Wireless Dock product compatibility, and so we can tell you this device will offer support for the Dell Latitude 5000 and 7000 Series. However, we also know that any laptop, ultrabook, and 2 in 1 device powered with a 5th generation Intel Core vPro processors will also be supported, as long as they have been enabled with Intel Tri-Band Wireless-AC 17256.
One of the best features is how you can have your laptop in your bag, yet still be able to connect to it via Dell’s new dock and work away on the connected keyboard, mouse and up to two monitors at a time. This really does give you peace of mind when it comes to protecting your portable computer, and also means Dell delivers when it says productivity will be increased.
What we do find strange is how the device should be available now on the Dell website, although we cannot find how you can buy it now, or even its price.
