We have some rather interesting news now for those of you that are waiting for the much-anticipated Brink game to be released, as we’ve just received word that Bethesda Softworks has released a brand new gameplay trailer for the upcoming Splash Damage-developed first-person shooter.
According to a recent article by Al McCarthy over on the attackofthefanboy.com website, the latest trailer — which has been dubbed ‘Ready and Able’ — showcases the game’s unlockable player abilities. The Brink game is due to be released for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on May 17th in the U.S.
The game is set on the Ark, an enormous floating city that is on the brink (hence the game’s title) of a civil war. The Ark was originally built to accommodate just 5,000 residents, but refugees from other parts of the world began entering and the population soon increased to 50,000.
Brink sees two different factions (the ‘Resistance’ and the ‘Security’) locked in a heated battle, with each faction hoping to gain control of the Ark. You can view the ‘Ready and Able’ trailer below this post, and view Bethesda Softworks’ previously released ‘Classes’ trailer via the attackofthefanboy.com website here.
