New BlackBerry Z10 with Porsche Design hinted

We have something of interest for luxury smartphone fans now, especially those on the lookout for a new high-end device and don’t particularly care about the high costs involved. The BlackBerry Z10 is a lovely device in its standard form, but now we hear of possible plans for another collaboration between BlackBerry and Porsche Design for a luxury version of the Z10.

Although we have heard nothing from BlackBerry to suggest that this is a realistic project, pictures that have emerged recently suggest that something exciting is happening behind the scenes. BlackBerry veterans may already be aware that it isn’t the first time that the company has teamed up with Porsche, so it could add even more strength to the following picture you’re about to see.

This image has popped up in Vietnam, on well known leak site Tinhte. It shows what appears to be the back cover of the future BlackBerry 10 device by Porsche Design. You’ll see that there’s a significant cut out on the top of the back case, which will allow Porsche Design to show off the swanky branding in clearer terms when the device is actually revealed properly.

For even more evidence that this appears to be a done deal already, another image of the elusive device has turned up on another Vietnamese website – this one shows the Porsche Design logo as we mentioned above.

It looks very sexy indeed, but like most luxury smartphones – the big problem is going to be price. You are going to have to put down a considerable amount of money to snap one up we feel, so if you are not rich or famous you probably want to give this one a miss.

Do you have the money to splash out on a Porsche Design BlackBerry Z10, should it become available?
