New AWD Jaguar XF available to order today

The all-new All-Wheel Drive (AWD) Jaguar XF is available to order in the UK today, and so will add more dynamic to the already superb driving experience.

Jaguar have never offered a four-wheel drive version to its business saloon, and so it will be interesting to see how popular they become, although with the cold weather now on its way, we are sure they will be a more popular choice over the 2WD variants.

So what are the benefits? By bringing the AWD system to the 2017 Jaguar XF, drivers will get the chance to try out the Intelligent Driveline Dynamics (IDD), which allows for increased traction and will increase or decrease power to any wheel when the system needs to.

New 2017 AWD Jaguar XF

It’s great to see Jaguar add their torque on-demand AWD system to another model in the line, but there is also so much more on offer to not only improve the driving experience, but also to make it a far better place to be in the cabin.

As the driver, you will have complete control over how the new XF drives and feels, such as its Configurable Dynamics system where you are able to tune the suspension, throttle response, steering and also the transmission all with the touch-screen.

All of these features were only available on the V6 version, and so great to see Jaguar bring them to its four-cylinder, diesel variant – although only on the automatic versions.

Keeping with how the car drives, this model also comes with Adaptive Dynamics, which means the damping system will keep adapting to the road conditions.

2017 AWD Jaguar XF model range consists of XF Prestige, XF R-Sport, XF Portfolio, XF S.
