New Apple App Analytics features for iOS 8, 9 crash data

Apple has offered an update for App Analytics in iTunes Connect to give developers the best insight yet. This means they will find out more information in relation to Ratios, Paying Users, and especially with iOS 8 and iOS 9 crashing for iPhone and iPad.

iOS 8 / 9 crashing on both iPad and iPhone – it’s important to track the stability of your Apple apps and now with new App Analytics features you can filter these crashes by platform, the OS version, and get insight into crash data to pinpoint causes and help create a much better end experience.

When it comes to Ratios, there’s now the ability to view “two measures as a ratio”, which allows for developers to quickly understand their marketing efforts and app performance a lot better. You will be able to access sessions per active device, sales per paying user, conversion rate, and lots of other metrics to understand your users more than ever before.

Precise information on paying Users – rather than count paying users by iPad, iPhone, and iPod, App Analytics tracks these paying users by Apple ID to get a precise count. This allows developers to see how many paying users they have each day, and this will notify you right away if one change impacts the amount of people paying for an app or in-app purchase.

Traffic sources to iOS apps will also be tracked, so you can find out if these sources are from websites or a campaign.

You can visit the website to learn about App Analytics features, especially within this short WWDC 2015 video about getting the most from App Analytics.
