New App for iPhone: Learn to Speak with a British Accent

The art of talking in the British accent has now been made easier with the launch of a new app for owners of the iPhone or iPod Touch devices, and the iPad. British Accent helps users to improve their accent by downloading this app and using the simple lessons provided.

Developers Zepho Inc, have teamed up with — Alison Pitman Voiceover Services — who is a UK based professional voice over artist that has done many TV and radio voiceovers. She also provides voice over’s for large and small businesses across the globe. The lessons go through the different sounds of the vowels and consonants that are found in the Received Pronunciation British accent.

The app can help users who want to use the British accent in their working environment or just for leisure purposes. There are 16 different Consonant sounds and 15 different Vowel Sounds included in the app which will help to improve users spoken English as they learn how to pronounce them properly. Further lessons are going to be added to provide even more vocabulary practice.

British Accent is on the App Store for only $4.99 for users of the iPhone, iPod Touch, and the iPad. OS 3.1.2 or later required.
