Update: New Angry Birds game to be revealed today

There has been a great deal of speculation as to what the next game in the Angry Birds franchise will be, with one of the most popular being a Transformers theme. While we don’t think this will be the next theme of the game (although we know it’s coming) we do not have to wait long seeing as though Rovio is set to reveal the new Angry Birds game today.

As yet we have no idea at what time the new Angry Birds Game will be revealed, but we do know there is great expectation for it, especially as Android and iOS users have had this strange addiction with birds of late.

Rovio revealed a new teaser poster yesterday on their Twitter page, which you can see above and having studied the image for a while, we were able to find one clue as to what the theme of the next game will be.

New Angry Birds theme ideas — Like we said above, Transformers is a good possibility seeing as though the new movie will be out in 4 months time. However, another idea that has been picking up steam is Angry Birds Marvel. This does make sense seeing as though Marvel is the in thing at the moment.

However, if we were to go out on a limb, then we would suggest Angry Birds Rio 2 based on the outlines of one of the birds in the image, and the fact Rio 2 will be released in April.

Update: Rovio has announced a new spin-off called Angry Birds Stella and is based on the pink bird that we have previously seen in Angry Birds Seasons and Go games. We will take a closer look into this new spin-off in a later article.
