New Android USB Type-C smartphones imitates HTC One

Apple has set off a new trend when it announced the new MacBook, as have rivals Nokia with the N1 tablet and Google’s latest Chromebook, as they all share one thing in common, the USB Type-C connection port. The only thing missing from that little bunch is the smartphone, but you don’t have to wait any longer, as the first Android USB Type-C smartphones are now available to purchase.

There is however one drawback, and that is these 3 new smartphones with the improved connection port are only available in China, and we doubt they will make it to U.S. shores because this is a brand that never usually makes it to the Western world.

The brand is LeTV, and you can see by the design of these three new handsets that they resemble the HTC One range a lot, although when you look at the rear of these smartphones, they have the same bands top and bottom as the iPhone 6.

All three of these new phones run Android 5.0 and come with varied specs and features to cater for different needs and budgets. You have the flagship Le Max, the smaller Le 1 Pro and finally the Le 1.

Engadget has a list of all those main specs, and while we know you will not be able to buy these out of China, it won’t be too long before other Android devices come to market sporting the USB Type-C connection port in the U.S. and other parts of the world.
