New 7-inch iPad or iPad 2.0 could be unknown Apple device

We recently reported that a list of new Apple devices were seen on the new firmware for the updated Apple TV device. 9 to 5 Mac suspect that two of these devices were Sprint, T-mobile or Verizon iPhone’s, but there is another device. The number in the firmware says 20547, and we have a suspicion that this could be the new 7-inch iPad or iPad 2.0.

We know that the new device could be anything, but it would need to be something that will run on iOS 4, and the only thing that we can think of is a new version of the iPad.

It is no secret that Apple is already working on a new version of their iPad device, but there are pros and cons for this. The pro is that Apple needs to offer something newer with upgrades such as a front and rear camera, the con is that it has not even been a year since the release of the current version.

We all love to have the latest gadgets, but I have only had the iPad for a few months, and after just purchasing the iPhone 4 and in need of replacing my broken PS3, I will not be rushing out for Apple’s new tablet device in a hurry.
