This month we have seen a new 2014 iPhone 6 beta test website launched along with a video explaining how to become a tester, although we’d like to stop you right there and point out that the iphone6beta.com domain isn’t even registered by Apple. We had a couple of our readers ask if the new iPhone 6 beta test was official or safe, and while we cannot confirm how safe it is you shouldn’t think this domain is created by Apple.
We are impressed by the lengths those behind the domain have gone to for a professional finish and detailed iPhone 6 specs. They list the new features to include a 1080p display, 14 percent bigger screen, 64GB of storage, heart rate detector, 30 percent faster, and is apparently the “most powerful cellular device ever created”.
They even showcase over 9,000 beta testers already and a few thousand social followers. The website is cleanly designed, which will only make it look more professional and trick those that are not so tech savvy.
Any of our readers that know Apple well, will also understand they don’t release websites for anyone to beta test a new iPhone and 2014 is no different. The websites claims “they are” allowing regular people to beta test an iPhone 6, although we’ll let our readers debate this statement below.
We have included the video below this article that’s had almost 30,000 views already. The video author has titled it “iPhone 6 finally launched”, and explains you can now beta test the iPhone 6 and try out for free.
Do you really think anyone would seriously sign up for this? It is timed perfectly with WWDC 2014 about to start in a couple of days.
