The more content available on a set-top-box the better it will be able to compete with its competition, and that is why most of them offer Netflix support. Some of them are a little late to the party though, such as BT YouView, as Netflix on the BT YouView box only went live today – better late then never we guess.
With Netflix now available on BT’s YouView box, users now have instant access to a larger variety of content, although the UK version is still a long way off the sort of content U.S. customers have. Let’s not dwell on that too much, as we are sure BT YouView customers will be more than happy with the increased content
By selecting the Netflix app on YouView users will now be able to watch entire box sets, such as Breaking Bad, Homeland and The Originals. That is not all, as they now have a greater selection of movies, and although out-of-date when compared to Sky Premier, the Netflix service is far cheaper.
If you are an excising Netflix customer, then all you need to do is log in with your username and password using the YouView remote. If you are not a member, then why not take advantage of the 30-day free trial. Having said that, we would advise BT customers to hold off signing up for the moment, as there will be an exclusive BT TV customer offer soon for those wishing to sign-up to Netflix. For more details on this please visit YouView.
