Netflix for iPhone and iPod Touch: Feature Summary

Earlier this year Netflix’s CEO revealed that they were working on an iPhone version of its iPad app, now we can finally confirm that the app is freely available.

The app can be downloaded here, it will run on iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch, functionality wise it allows you to stream TV shows and movies from Netflix to your mobile device.

One neat feature allows you to resume watching the show/movie that you were watching on your iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch on your TV, the application will remember where you left off.

Some users seem disappointed that the app doesn’t allow manage your rental queue or add new DVDs to the list, perhaps this will arrive later on.
