Netflix Android 3.1.0 update is early Christmas gift

The moment has finally arrived for all Netflix fans using the Android app. Netflix has surprised everyone just before Christmas, by releasing the Netflix 3.1.0 update for Android. This change will finally give you the option of selecting individual Netflix profiles, which is perfect for other family members who regularly steal your tablet for their own Netflix fix.

Netflix profile support is self explanatory, as now other Netflix fans using the same tablet will be able to sign into their own account and organise their own content that doesn’t interfere with what you want to watch.

Also new with the Android 3.1.0 update is filtering out queue options, so you don’t have to see what other users have been searching – they can now do this on their individual profiles. Netflix has also let everyone know that the search bar has been enhanced to allow you to search for people and related titles.

While this update has been available on other platforms for quite some time, it’s great to see it finally available for Android tablets. If you are a Netflix user on Android, let us know if this update is great news for you.
