If you’re finding problems using Netflix AirPlay this week and it’s just not working, then it might not be something wrong with your iPad or iPhone, instead after digging around online you’ll see that support has been pulled officially.
While there’s plenty of Netflix error codes including the common avf 11800 and mirroring isn’t perfect, some of us preferred to click one button to stream with AirPlay to the big TV, although the company has stated that it has pulled AirPlay support due to lots of third-party devices supporting AirPlay.

They’ve had issues trying distinguish between devices and cannot certify your experience with said devices, so to guarantee a standard of quality for your viewing experience, AirPlay support has been dropped.
Considering the amount of native Netflix apps on various devices, we don’t see this as a huge deal, but it will frustrate those who prefer to cast directly rather than using a remote.
The latest Netflix app version on iOS is 11.27.2 at the time of publication, released 4th April 2019, it’s unclear what improvements the 11.28 update could bring, although we’d love to hear your wish lists.
