Neon Mania: New ‘Steady-Hand’ Game for iOS Devices

If you own an Apple iOS device and you’re looking to download a game that not only challenges your coordination but your imagination as well, then you might want to download the recently released Neon Mania game, which is compatible with the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.

As noted over on the gamasutra.com website, the Neon Mania application — which is developed by Vivid Games — follows the style of a table-top ‘steady-hand’ game, which tasks players with illuminating shapes by carefully and accurately tracing around the outlines on the screen of their device.

The game features hundreds of different levels, providing users with hours of addictive and relaxing gameplay. Speaking of gameplay, this is split into various different categories including Signs, Party, Kids, Sports and Landmarks. The developer says more challenges will come in later updates.

Neon Mania also provides players with two different game modes to choose from, which according to the itunes.apple.com website includes Rush Mode and Challenge Mode. Rush mode has users playing against a time, while Challenge Mode tests players’ touchscreen precision.

It also comes with a chill-out soundtrack. The Neon Mania application requires the device to be running iOS 3.0 or above. Does this sound like your kind of game?

You know one of my friends at school said the ipod touch has better games than the Nintendo DS and that games play beeter on the ipod touch. I laughed so hard. But yeah 3DS has the best graphics, look no further than Resident Evil, Street Fighter or Metal Gear Solid.
